The first program cohort, consisting of 15 high school students from local South Side Chicago High Schools, participated in both zoom and in-person sessions to learn more about the healthcare field. Some highlights from their hands-on, fun-filled, and educational summer include scrubbing up to observe surgeries and going out to see the helicopter on the roof of the hospital.
